Denon 2307ci to push headphones

Hey guys. I'm dipping into decent headphones finally, and wanted to see what the masses thought about pushing cans using the headphone jack on my Denon receiver. I think this will be sufficient (at least initially) for my listening purposes, but wanted to see what you guys thought about a dedicated headphone amp versus the Denon. I figure there's an improvement to be enjoyed there, but am guessing it would take several hundred dollars more to see a noticeable improvement. Thoughts?
I might eventually add a dedicated tube HP amp, but not in the near term unless the difference would be dramatic.
