'Sonic' was the poor man's Pioneer CS or Sansui XP series of the day.

The don't have much of a following today, but that doesn't mean they aren't listenable, or don't sport some sort of cool factor.

The ones that I have come across I passed on, just due to driver condition. If you have the space, or a vintage rig setup coming in the future, I'd keep em around - they appear to be in pretty good shape. Be on the hunt for an older Pioneer, Sansui, or Realistic receiver to power them with.

    Cool finally .. Thanks Russ

I am trying to go for the Retro look anyways in my Florida room/computer room, and these would be cool.. Maybe get an old receiver to go with them, The AMC shut down with these also  They say 5 way on the back.. i guess its alot of drivers to power, says 120 watts max... The drivers look great!! they sound good.. no distortion. crackleing, cabs look great as well.. i guess for 20 bucks not to bad, At good will today i found a like new Burley bike trailer for the kids.. 15.00 bucks, retails for 400.00 new, 2 -300 on e-bay used.. WOOHOO i had a good day today, also seen and passed them up dome Cerwin vega D-7's in great shape but the subwoofers surrounds were shot.. 20 bucks.. they sell the repair kits on e-bay and the cerwins go for 125 -3?? on e-bay regulary.. shoulda got em.. gonna see if they still there at the flea market tomorrow...

What kind of crossover do all those speakers need? Is this 3 way, 4 way or what?

The first thing I thought when I saw all those drivers, was, "Sansui". It looks exactly the same, though I've never heard of the Sonic name until now.
    Ludicrous gibs!
